HCHC HAS THE GREAT HONOUR OF BEING CHOSEN, BY PUBLIC HEALTH, AS A HOST SITE FOR THE ASTRA ZENICA COVID-19 VACCINATION!

We are extremely pleased to be able to offer our patients 40 years or older an Astra Zenica COVID-19 vaccination at our location.

While we would love to be able to vaccinate all our patients, our direction comes directly from Public Health and we have very strict parameters and monitoring that is set our by them.  There are absolutely no exceptions with regards to who we are allowed to administer the vaccine to at this time.  We have high hopes that doing well with this piolet will serve the rest of our patient population well with future vaccine opportunities.  Below are some important points with regards to the program.

  • We have a limited number of COVID vaccines.
  • Please make sure your email and phone number are correct and we will contact you when further vaccines becomes available.
  • Patients over 80 will receive their vaccine through the hospital sites and you can call the Hamilton Public Health COVID-19 Hotline at (905) 974-9848, option 7.
  • All vaccines are dramatically effective in preventing hospitalization, serious illness and death.  The risk of serious illness or death approaches zero with all vaccinations.  Most importantly this vaccine remains available to you and we don’t know that the Ontario government will ever offer Pfizer or Moderna to patients less than 65.

Our preferred method of booking is through our online portal.

You can click the button below to access our online booking page.  Be advised that all appointments must be approved by a physician before they are officially booked, you will receive an email once that happens.  If you are not a patient, or your do not fall under the age parameter of 40+, you will be rejected.
